17 RECOVERY SYSTEM RECOVERY TANK: Draining 1. Find an approved drain location to empty the recovery tank. 2. Lift the drain hose off of the hose hook, remove the cap (keeping it above the tank’s water level), fold over the collar and lower into the drain location. 3. Let the dirty water drain by releasing the collar into the drain slowly. 4. Lift the recovery tank lid to the wide-open position. CLEANING THE RECOVERY TANK WHEN DRAINING 1. Rinse out the recovery tank often to prevent debris, dirt buildup and any contaminants. 2. Use a hose to remove debris and sediment from the bottom of the tank with clean water. NOTE: Regularly use cleaner and sanitizer with a cloth or sponge to prevent mold and mildew inside the recovery tank. VACUUM BALL CAGE 1. Remove clamp (if present) and vacuum ball cage filter. 2. Rinse the filter thoroughly. 3. Replace vacuum ball cage filter and clamp (if present).
