15 DISK MACHINE PAD DRIVERS AND BRUSHES PAD DRIVER AND BRUSH INSTALLATION 1. Place the pad driver assemblies under the scrub deck of the machine. Try to align the assemblies under the scrub deck shroud. 2. Turn the key on and lower the head to medium or second down pressure position. 3. Turn the speed setting to the lowest position. 4. Slightly push or pull the machine to align the pad drive assemblies to help align the attachment lugs. 5. Pull the bail back to engage the pad drivers to the machine’s pad drive train. 6. Once the pad drive assemblies are attached, adjust down pressure setting to perform desired application. NOTE: If the pad drivers do not connect the first time return to step 4 and repeat. PAD DRIVER AND BRUSH REMOVAL NOTE: DO NOT use any machine without a pad or brush. Operating a machine without a pad or brush will damage the machine. 1. Remove the pad drivers or brushes from the machine by pushing and holding the red "Auto Off" button, found in the center of the lower control panel, until the pad drivers or brushes release from the scrub deck. 2. Remove the pad drivers or brushes from under the scrub deck NEW PAD INSTALLATION 1. Release the centering ring by pressing down on the pad and squeezing the wire lock tabs of the centering ring inward until it releases. 2. Remove the old pad and any remnants from the bristles of the pad driver. 3. Place the new pad on the bristles of the pad driver, making sure to align center holes of the pad and pad driver. 4. Place the centering ring over the center of the pad and press down until the wire lock tabs click into place, securing the pad and centering ring to the pad driver. Pad Driver Pad Center Ring
