14 HEAD LIFT 1. The head lift is controlled by a lineal actuator which raises and lowers the scrub deck. 2. The standard controls knob on the console has 3 down pressure settings and transport mode. Touch encoder models have the same 3 down pressure settings. 3. Disk machines are equipped with a self-adjusting shroud and bristle skirt that virtually eliminates overspray. SELECTING DOWN PRESSURE 1. Low pressure: 60 lb. - Daily cleaning of normal soils. 2. Medium pressure: 120 lb. – Heavy soils or chemical-free finish removals. 3. High pressure: 180 - 185 lb. – Heavy soils, orbital finish removal or chemical stripping.
