10 MACHINE PREPARATION / SETUP TURNING THE MACHINE ON/OFF The key switch to turn on the machine is located on the lower control panel. Turn clockwise for on (I) and counter clockwise for off (O). CIRCUIT BREAKERS Circuit breakers protect the GeneSys machine’s motors. These circuit breakers will trip under misapplications of the machine. Repeatedly tripping the breaker will cause the need for motor replacement. NOTE: If a breaker becomes tripped simply press in the white button on the circuit breaker. This might require a cooling down period of the machine’s tripped component before the breaker is allowed to be reset. BATTERY METER When the machine’s key is switched to the “ON” position the battery meter gives a readout of the charge remaining on the battery pack. LED lights will reduce in number as the charge on the batteries goes down. NOTE: A flashing battery meter will indicate a fault. SQUEEGEE INSTALLATION 1. Position the squeegee behind the machine and align the knob posts with the squeegee carrier slots. 2. Lift the squeegee and slide into the slots. (Fig. 1) 3. Tighten down the knobs to secure the squeegee. (Fig. 2) 4. Attach the vacuum hose to the squeegee. (Fig. 3) (Fig. 1) (Fig. 2) (Fig. 3)
